Fusion kolaches

If kolaches are delicious, nutritious and fun as is, imagine how much tastier they’ll be if you add Isadora® beans to them. It’s the ideal snack for all!





  • 1 pkg. Isadora® refried beans
    2 pkg. refrigerated biscuit dough (regular size
  • 10 to a pkg.)
    4 slices pre-sliced pepper jack or American cheese
    16 small smoked sausages (cocktail size)
    1 egg

How to Cook

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. 2Separate the biscuit dough rounds. On a lightly floured surface, flatten each round with your fingers until it is about 3.5 inches in diameter. Place about 1 tablespoon of Isadora® refried beans in the center of each round and spread out slightly. Tear each slice of cheese into 4 quarters and place one-quarter piece on top of the beans. Top with a cocktail sausage and fold over into a half moon shape. Press the edges of the dough together to seal and place on an ungreased baking sheet.

  1. 4In a small bowl, place 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water and mix together with a fork. Brush each kolache with the egg wash.

  3. 6Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
